About Creative Move Management
Our Story
Creative Move Management began with a simple idea: business transitions require more than a moving company. They require thoughtful planning, experienced coordination, and a clear understanding of how the people, logistics and details must come together.
After 10 years with Creo and Eastman Kodak, coordinating equipment and facilities across North America, the founder of Creative Move Management, Jason Shanks combined his project management education from UBC with an extensive network of industry contacts to establish Creative Move Management and Design in May 2009.
Over the next decade, he managed a wide range of office, industrial, and laboratory projects throughout Metro Vancouver. In March 2019, Jason joined CBRE, the world’s leading commercial real estate services and investment firm, where he had the opportunity to lead increasingly large and complex projects—not only in Vancouver, but across Canada.
After eight years at CBRE, Jason decided to step away during the summer of 2026 to recharge, reflect, and prepare for the next chapter. That time provided an opportunity to revisit the “Creative Move Management” business with a fresh perspective, refine its vision, strengthen its service model, and build on the experience gained throughout his career.
In September 2026, Creative Move Management returned with a renewed focus on Business Transition and Move Management.
With this, we look forward to helping a wider range of organizations to plan and coordinate the projects that get their business from where they are to where they need to be. The company may be returning, but the experience behind it has never stopped growing.
Project locations and service area
Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Creative Move Management provides services throughout Canada.
Our experience extends from B.C. to the Prairies, Ontario, and beyond, with projects completed in Victoria, Prince George, Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Ottawa.
We have also supported business transition projects in the United States, including San Jose, Irvine, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, and Rochester, and would welcome the opportunity to support U.S. projects again. While cross-border project work can present additional logistical considerations, our experience and established network allow us to support complex transition projects wherever your organization needs us.
